The itinerary

Drive from hotel to Langa Township.

Langa is a township in Cape Town, South Africa. Its name in Xhosa means “sun”. The township was initially built in phases before being formally opened in 1927. It was designed to force Africans to move from their homes into segregated locations. Interact with the residents of Langa and enjoy a 2hour walking tour.

Bo kaap (cape Malay quarters)

A popular daytime destination, hillside Bo-Kaap is known for its narrow cobbled streets lined with colourful houses. Local Cape Malay culture is represented at sites like the 1790s-built Auwal Mosque and the Bo-Kaap Museum, with exhibits about the achievements of Muslim immigrants. Nearby, simple restaurants serve curries, roti and other Cape Malay dishes. The Noon Gun cannon are fired daily at midday from Signal Hill.

Diamond store

Wind of the day with a tour of a diamond store where you learn about the history of diamond mining in South Africa & explore the fascinating world of diamonds in a whole new way. Tour ends with the drop off at the hotel.
